I’ve added a little widget that shows the current “work in progress” and its status for those interested. I promise to try my best to remember to update it every night before I start writing. So it will probably always be 24 hours behind. The progress bar will show the current word count for the book being written compared to the total word count the book is expected to be once finished.

Luna’s Heat
“How does it feel to be full of your lover’s blood?” Radu taunted.
“Fuck you!”
“It’s too late for that. You had your chance.”
Working on Luna’s Heat
Here is the rough start of Luna’s Heat. I’m writing as fast as life will let me:
“No!” I screamed in my head at Radu but it was already too late.
“You are hungry, Childe. Feed!”
Darren caught me as I threw myself at him. His strong arms wrapped around me, ready to protect me.
I was so hungry. My stomach was twisted into painful knots. Eat or die.
“Feed,” Radu commanded.
I remember Darren’s brow knitting in confusion as I struck. He wasn’t expecting me to tear open his neck. He wasn’t expecting me to suddenly become so much stronger than him and overpower him. He toppled backwards with me on top. I swear the building shuddered at the impact.
With my new supernatural strength, I toppled the giant.
Fangs I didn’t even know I had ripped into his flesh. His blood hit my mouth and I practically cooed as I swallowed a great mouthful of it down. Warm and sweet like mother’s milk.
There was so much noise, so much static going on around us but the blood, Darren’s blood was all I cared about. Blood was life and I was dying.
Darren struggled beneath me. I was sitting on his stomach, my thighs tight around him. My hands held him with his arms pinned to his sides.
“No!” he commanded, “Don’t fucking touch her!”
I could sense them behind me, circling, growling with their hackles raised.
Darren was mine, they couldn’t have him.
